Bill Logsdon

 

Bill Logsdon is the founder and co-owner of Masters Oil & Gas Company where he began his energy career in 1981.  Masters was originally formed as a vehicle to acquire non-operated working interest in wells drilled in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas.  Masters role gradually expanded to include prospect generation, purchase and sale concentrating on the acquisition of the associated oil and gas leasehold.

Bill joined Baron Exploration Company later in 1981 on a contract basis serving as General Counsel and Land Manager until 1991.  In 1991, Bill left Baron to devote more time to the operation of Masters Oil & Gas Company and to the practice of law where he specialized in oil and gas land titles and contracts.  In 2007, Bill acquired and took over the management of Athan, Inc., an affiliated company, which currently operates several producing oil and gas wells located in Logan and Noble Counties in Oklahoma.

Bill graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1974 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting.  Bill later attended the University of Oklahoma Law School where in 1978 he earned his Juris Doctorate.  Bill and his wife have resided in Edmond, Oklahoma since 1984.

James Logsdon

Jim Logsdon is the chief consulting geologist for Masters Oil & Gas Company.

 

James Logsdon has worked in the oil and gas industry for 37 years as an Oil Finder.  James career began in 1981 with Baron Exploration Company where he worked for 15 years.  During his tenure with Baron, James was instrumental in the development of several fields.  These fields  include  production from the Second Wilcox and Bartlesville Sand (near the townsite of Edmond, Oklahoma), Oswego Limestone and Perry Gas Sand (near the townsite of Perry, Oklahoma), Prue Sand (near downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma) and the Hunton Limestone ( near Wiley Post Airport in Bethany, Oklahoma).  These fields have produced several million barrels of oil and multiple BCF of gas.  Recently, James was the lead geologist on multiple successful prospects exploiting the Woodford and Hunton formations.in McClain County, Oklahoma.  The original parties involved in these prospects included Masters Oil & Gas Company, Endico, Inc.. and Charter Oak Production Co., LLC who operated all of these prospects.  Currently, James is the chief consulting geologist for Masters on the WHECCO Prospect.

James graduated with honors from the University of Oklahoma in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology..  James has resided in Norman, Oklahoma since 1978 with his wife.

James Endicott

James "Jim" Endicott is the chief land consult for Masters Oil & Gas Company.

In 1974 after graduating from college, Jim went to work in Kansas City as a sales engineer and office manager for The Condit Company, Inc., a manufacturers representative based in Tulsa, Oklahoma serving the process industries with specialty engineered equipment and equipment packages.  In 1981, Jim began investing in the oil and gas industry by taking non-operated working interest in Oklahoma prospects.

 

His full-time career in the oil and gas industry began in 1985 as a contract landman doing field and in-house land work.  In 1989, Jim formed Endico, Inc. an oil and gas exploration company to participate in oil and gas prospects and wells.  He has been an originator and investor in numerous exploration prospects working with independent geologists, engineers and operators.  His experience in land encompasses all aspects of land from the determination of the viability of a geological prospect from a land perspective, to the acquisition and management of the rights necessary to explore and produce oil and gas, through the permitting , drilling and development stages of a well or prospect.  His expertise includes evaluation of title risks, satisfying regulatory requirements, preparation and negotiation of prospect and exploration agreements, and the sale of prospects to companies and individual investors.

 

Jim graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1973 with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Management and a minor in Marketing.  Jim later attended the University of Kansas where he earned his Master of Business Administration degree in 1983 .  Jim is a member of the American Association of Professional Landmen, the Oklahoma City Association of Professional Landmen and the Society of Petrophysicists and Well Log Analyst.  Jim currently serves as Treasurer and is on the Leadership Board of his church in Edmond.  Since 2000, he has served as a member of the Board of Directors and Treasurer of a non-profit 501C(3) organization providing senior life care.  Jim is a long-time resident of Edmond, Oklahoma where he resides with his wife.

Chase Watkins

Chase Watkins is a consulting geologist for Masters Oil & Gas Company.

Chase began working as a geologist in the oil and gas industry in 2006 with James Logsdon of JCL and JFL Oil & Gas.  His work included delineating the extent of successful oil and gas plays in the Woodford and Hunton formations in McClain County, Oklahoma.

Chase graduated in 2002 from the University of Missouri-Rolla (now Missouri University of Science and Technology) with a Bachelor of Science in Geology and a minor in Economics.  Chase is currently pursuing a Master's degree at Oklahoma State University with an emphasis on carbonates.  His thesis is focused on characterizing and mapping certain reservoir properties of the unconventional Hunton reservoirs in Cleveland, Grady and McClain Counties in Oklahoma.
